Fortnite has an array of accessibility options that can enable a better experience while playing the game.  It’s easy to lose track of your enemies’ location during a heated build battle. That’s where visual sound effects come in clutch—a small icon on the screen that gives helpful information like the position of nearby enemies and many more. It also doesn’t cover the screen entirely, which is crucial. The visual sound effects have icons and different colors for footsteps, crowns, crows, animals, healing items used, weapon firing, cars, when Spider-Man web-slinger items are used nearby, and more.

Lost Ark finally opened its doors to the Western gaming world on Feb. 11. Players who previously purchased the Founder’s Pack started their journey three days before the official release date, however. Early access players naturally chose the most populated servers to create their characters while streamer servers were already full. When the rest of the Lost Ark fans logged into the game, some of the servers were already crowded. Despite servers working at full capacity, some players still decided to play the waiting game on the same server with their friends or favorite streams, creating long wait times.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is finally here after a lengthy delay, but it has been well worth the wait. In the past, Destiny has had some issues with expansion campaigns feeling a bit too short. That’s not an issue with The Witch Queen, though, since many have felt the game’s storyline, especially the Legendary campaign, has been worth the price of the purchase alone. There are eight total missions in The Witch Queen and they are lengthier, more challenging, and more complex than previous campaigns before it.

As an MMO, Final Fantasy XIV offers a massive amount of content, which means countless bugs might occur. Even when the developers work on fixing the issues, new and returning glitches can surface when updates are introduced. One issue many players have already encountered in FFXIV is the unexpected deactivation of some sounds—or even all of them—while playing. It can happen at any moment, and it’s not always related to your platform.

If you try to enter Wayward Cave in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, you’ll be walking in the dark. To get through the maze-like cavern, you’ll need TM70, also known as Flash, Without it, you’ll be walking around in the dark and won’t be able to see much on your screen. Getting Flash is a simple process. You can find it in the basement of Oreburgh Gate, or you can purchase it once you get to Veilstone City.

Fortnite Chapter Three introduced the new sliding mechanic in the game. Sliding allows players to travel faster down ledges and maintain accuracy while shooting. Players didn’t consider the terrain in the game much outside of the building structures, but the addition of an extra permanent layer to mobility brings a new dimension to Fortnite. Players can use the slide function any time in the game by running in a particular direction and pressing the crouch button.

Not all people have the gift of finding the best username when they first create their account.  Though there are titles that charge players for changing their in-game tags, it’s completely free in Apex Legends. The process will be slightly different based on your platform of choice. Changing your name won’t be Apex specific in most cases, and your tag will also be different in other games that you play.

There’s no shortage of mounts of all kinds in Final Fantasy XIV, but some are more unique than others. The Demi-Ozma is one of the most unique mounts in the game with an ever-changing form feature that can’t be found anywhere else in the MMO. The Demi-Ozma appears in different forms, from a small planet to a triangle or square form that seems to be a portal to another universe, so it’s hard to get bored of using this one.

As gaming has become more popular and immersive, players have begun having longer sessions in front of their computers. While this isn’t the healthiest thing to do, having the right gear can mitigate some negative effects of sitting for long periods of time. One major factor in reducing the negative effects of sitting for a long period of time is the gamer’s choice in seating. Sitting in front of a computer for many hours in one position can induce issues related to many of the different joints within the human body.

Riot is closing out the year in style with VALORANT Episode Three, Act Three.  The final act of the year combines a fresh new competitive season with a battle pass, a skin line inspired by comic books, a limited-time event based on Arcane, and a new weapon-savvy agent called Chamber. Chamber, a sentinel that “focuses on mechanical outplays” with an “additional focus on gunplay” for “an extra flourish,” has an arsenal of weapons at his disposal.
