The next Pokémon installment coming for fans will be here in just over a month and while it isn’t completely new, there is plenty of anticipation for these generation four remakes. See Pokémon on Amazon Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be released on Nov. 19. For those eager to get their hands on the game there are plenty of different bundles available with a variety of gifts alongside copies of the game exclusive to specific retailers.

Games try to find the best graphical settings for players based on their hardware when they first load into a game. While this process often results in players averaging smooth frames, most players will head to the options panel to see if there is anything else they can improve. Tinkering around in the settings and reducing some of the values can allow players to average higher frames, which can be important in competitive games.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is going to change the Pokémon franchise, taking it beyond its standard RPG roots and turning the title into a much more interactive and action-oriented experience.  This includes turning the usually formulaic, route-based layout of previous new entries and expanding that into a more open, sandbox-style world that will give players a chance to experience a region that feels truly lived in.  The game will bring core gameplay mechanics that will see players interacting with wild Pokémon in new ways, such as catching them without battling or dodging attacks that could damage them.

Respawn Entertainment is one of the most reliable developers when it comes to updates. Apex Legends patches are usually quick, smooth, and painless. But, of course, they’re not without their flaws. One issue comes down to the patch installer itself. After installing a new Apex Legends patch, some players are left stuck in the Origin launcher unable to load the game. Waiting and wondering amount to nothing. To fix the error, pause the download, close the Origin launcher through the task manager if necessary, and run Origin again as an administrator.

NFL teams are reporting to training camp, which means a new Madden game is right around the corner. Madden NFL 22, the next edition of the football simulation franchise, releases Aug. 20. This multiplatform game will come out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Tom Brady and the Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes were former Super Bowl opponents, and now share the honor of being cover athletes for Madden 22.

Minecraft is a game to get lost in. It allows players nearly endless possibilities and as such has been a popular game for over ten years and doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon with many updates planned for its future and a massive community still invested in it. The voice of Halo’s artificially intelligent construct Cortana, who might most notably be known for being Master Chief’s partner, is one of the more familiar sounds in Halo that dates back to 2001.  The AI personal assistant has been voiced by the actress Jen Taylor in Halo: Combat Evolved through Halo Infinite. Along with being a part of the 2022 live-action series Halo, Taylor has been the voice of Cortana in eight different Halo games.

There are many unique cosmetics in Apex Legends, and Respawn Entertainment continues to add more of them with every patch. Despite the price tags of the existing skins or their rarities, all of them are outclassed when compared to Heirlooms. Heirlooms sets are cosmetics that come with a melee weapon skin and a matching banner pose. They usually have a special significance to the backstory of each legend and also bring exclusive animations that help make them feel even more unique.

The Fat Black Chocobo mount is up to grabs once again, which will please Final Fantasy XIV fans who aim to collect all the Chocobo cosmetics in the game. It’s the reward of a collaboration event between developer Square Enix and streaming platform Twitch, according to Square Enix’s latest blogpost. The goal of this collaboration is to reward players who support longstanding content creators of the community, such as MrHappy, ZeplaHQ, and MTQCapture.

There’s not a more disrespectful way to kill an enemy in Call of Duty than executing them with a finishing move. You can quick-scope an enemy and teabag them for emphasis, but it’s still not as disrespectful as coming up behind somebody and triggering an awesome animation to kill them in a violent and flashy fashion. Finishing moves are a recent addition to the CoD franchise, but they’re already a mainstay and something that players look forward to each year.
